We apologize for being so tardy in posting on this blog, but we have a good excuse. Our power went out over a week ago and hasn't returned, so we're a bit hard-pressed to find a reliable source of internet and time to write. We don't expect power to return for another several weeks ... possibly up to a month or two, which is after I return home. Still, we'll do our best to keep you posted about our activities with S4Si in Zanzibar!

Mission Statement
The mission of S4Si is to create educational opportunities for high-achieving students in the developing world, with the belief that education is essential to community leadership and a country’s development. We are a university-based, nonprofit organization that provides these opportunities through collaboration with the local communities of our scholars.
